OpenSys (M) Berhad adopts new corporate logo

Since the beginning of 2005, OpenSys has adopted a new corporate logo in line with its goal to becoming the leader in the emerging market of non-cash dispensing, multi-function self-service machines. The OpenSys Efficient Service Machines (ESMs) fills the void between information kiosks and cash-dispensing machines, commonly known as ATMs. It is aptly named as it efficiently provides services to customers that are normally performed at service counters, like cheque deposits and bill payments.

OpenSys' new logo is formed by a vertical ring around a 3D globe, which is partitioned into two half's by an S-shaped divider. The empty space between the ring and globe, together with the S-shaped divider – "O" and "S" – refers to "OpenSys". It symbolises innovation as it endeavours to "fill the void" in providing creative business solutions that make a difference.

The overall logo also depicts a cat's eye, which has sharp vision, symbolizing forward-looking, analytical, confidence, sensitive and quality conscious. The existing OpenSys logotype is retained to give the brand the same recognition of quality and trust that was built since 1996.
